As the weekend began, Samsung disclose an ‘Ultimate Test
Drive’ promotion, in which iPhone users in the US have been gotten the
opportunity to try out a Galaxy S6 Edge+, a Galaxy Note 5, or a Galaxy s6 Edge
for a month for just $1.
Either he South Korean tech giant didn’t have sufficient
spare handsets, or there are too many Apple users wanting to make the switch,
or both -- after just a couple if days the demand has exceeded supply and the
scheme has been put on hold.
“Due to the overwhelming demand, we are temporarily out of
test drive phones,” reads the note on the Ultimate Test Drive site. “Please
keep checking back for available phones.”

According to the terms of the original deal, interested
users are able to get a month’s data plan through AT&T, Verizon, Spring or
T Mobile. Only iPhone holders can register for the trial so Samsung knows you really
are interested on giving Android a spin.
You will get a 30-day trial period to use the phone, and
can return it before the end of the month with no questions asked. If you
decide to keep the phone, then your credit card gets charged the full price of
handset chosen by you.
If the experiment really is getting people to change their
mind and make the switch, then Samsung is going to refill its stocks as soon as
it possibly can. The next batch of iPhone are due to be disclose by Apple in
September.
